Angela Chen
Angela Chen was born in 2012 in Los Angeles, United States. She began playing the piano at the age of four and moved with her family to Florence when she was five. At eight, she started studying with Maestro Siavush Gadjiev at the Glasbena Matica School in Trieste.
Angela has taken part in several major international piano competitions. She won First Prize at “Crescendo 2021” in Florence and received the Absolute First Prize in her age category at the Tartini International Piano Competition in Piran, Slovenia, where she was also proclaimed the overall winner of the 3rd Tartini Competition. She also participated in the 15th Nikolai Rubinstein International Piano Competition in Paris, earning the Absolute First Prize. In April 2023, at the age of ten, she gave her first highly acclaimed solo concert in Trieste.
