Iryna Bobyreva

Iryna Bobyreva, born in Ukraine in 2003, began her musical journey in early childhood, encouraged by her parents. At the age of five, she started studying the cello, embarking on a path that led her to distinguish herself on the international music scene. In 2021, she graduated with top honors from the Kharkiv Music Lyceum under the guidance of V. Romanova, receiving numerous awards in national and international competitions. She subsequently continued her studies at the National Music Academy of Ukraine, refining her skills with E. Polyanska. In 2022, she was awarded a prestigious Erasmus scholarship, which allowed her to continue her education in Italy. Since then, she has been studying at the Giuseppe Tartini Conservatory in Trieste under the guidance of F. Magris. Her artistic growth has been enriched by masterclasses with renowned musicians including M. Rousi, E. Bronzi, L. Piovano, K. Zlotnikov, V. Hunter, Ch.-A. Archambault, D. Severin, and A. Melucci. She has also deepened her chamber music studies with S. Lamberto and at the Stauffer Academy with the Quartetto di Cremona. Iryna has participated in numerous festivals, including the Festival Academy Budapest 2024, the International Music Festival of Portogruaro, and the Trieste Festival. From 2023 to 2024, she was a member of the “New Era” Quartet, with which she won Third Prize and a Special Award at the “Giulio Rospigliosi” International Chamber Music Competition, as well as the National Arts Prize. She has served as Principal Cellist of both the Symphony Orchestra and the String Orchestra of the Tartini Conservatory, and has collaborated with the Busoni Chamber Orchestra, the Erasmus Orchestra, the CEMAN Orchestra, the FVG Chamber Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Piccola Opera Festival, among others.
