Tamara Ivaniš Zaplatić
Born in Varaždin, Croatia, Tamara Ivaniš Zaplatić began her musical studies at the age of seventeen at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, graduating in 2016 under the guidance of K. Hanser. In 2024 she completed with distinction her Master’s degree in Lied and Oratorio at the Mozarteum University Salzburg under C. Strehl and S. Genz. Recently, she performed the role of Tamiri in Mozart’s Il re pastore, presented at the Mozarteum in Salzburg and scheduled for performance in Budapest in 2024. In 2021 she appeared as Blonde in Mozart’s Die Entführung aus dem Serail at the Oper Burg Gars Festival. From 2018 to 2020 she was a member of the ensemble at the Landestheater Salzburg, where she performed the leading female role in Rossini’s La Gazzetta. Previously, she spent two years with the Gerard Mortier Opera Studio, singing roles such as Taumännchen in Hänsel und Gretel and Ilia in Idomeneo. She also took part in the New Year’s concert at the Großes Festspielhaus in Salzburg, performing Frühlingsstimmenwalzer conducted by M. Zanetti. Her debut took place in 2015 as Flaminia in Haydn’s Il mondo della luna. Tamara has participated in numerous master classes with distinguished artists and recorded the aria “Chi il bel sogno” from Puccini’s La Rondine for K. Markovics’ film Superwelt. She has received prizes in several international competitions, including First Prize at the 12th Iuventus Canti International Competition in Slovakia and Third Prize at the Ferruccio Tagliavini Competition in Austria. In 2024 she won First Prize at the 21st Seghizzi International Chamber Singing and Piano Competition in Gorizia.
Tjaša Šulc Dejanović
Born in Maribor, Slovenia, Tjaša Šulc Dejanović began her musical education in her hometown. She completed both her academic and postgraduate piano studies at the Academy of Music at the University of Zagreb under K. Kos. For her performance of Schumann’s Piano Concerto in A minor op. 54 with the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra, she was awarded the Rector’s Prize of the University of Zagreb. She later continued her studies with Bogino at the Accademia Musicale Santa Cecilia in Bergamo and refined her training under renowned pianists such as Indjic, do Carmo Flores, Stančul, Kämmerling and Gadžijev. Throughout her career she has received numerous awards in national and international piano competitions, as well as recognition for her artistic engagement in multidisciplinary contexts. She has performed both as a soloist and chamber musician in Slovenia and abroad — in Italy, Germany, France, Croatia, Austria, China, and Poland — and has taken part in various radio and television productions. Critics have described her playing as refined, sensitive, highly musical, and technically assured. Alongside her concert activity, she is deeply involved in teaching, giving seminars for young pianists and serving as a juror in piano competitions. She is also active in international master classes in Slovenia, China, Bosnia, and Croatia
