Born in Amsterdam in 1994, ELLA VAN POUCKE<\/strong> is a prize-winning cellist and winner of the prestigious Premio Chigiana 2017 and the Grachtenfestival Prize. She has received First Prizes at the International Isang Yun Cello Competition (2015), the Leopoldinum Award (2015), the Prix Nicolas Firmenich (2013), the Elisabeth Everts Award (2014), the Prix Acad\u00e9mie Maurice Ravel (2012), the Princess Christina Competition (2008), and the Special Prize at the Emanuel Feuermann Grand Prix (2014). After making her debut at the Concertgebouw at the age of ten, she has performed in all major Dutch concert halls and in leading venues across Europe, the United States and Asia. As a soloist, she has appeared with the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra, HR-Sinfonieorchester, Brussels Philharmonic, Rotterdam Philharmonic Strings, Orchestra della Toscana, Warsaw Chamber Orchestra, Polish Chamber Orchestra, Leopoldinum Chamber Orchestra, Junge Sinfonie Berlin, Hamburger Camerata and the Tongyeong Festival Orchestra, collaborating with conductors such as Michael Sanderling and Christoph Eschenbach. A dedicated chamber musician, she has performed with Andr\u00e1s Schiff, Gary Hoffman, Nobuko Imai, Tabea Zimmermann, Christian Tetzlaff, Viviane Hagner, Gidon Kremer, Colin Carr, Vilde Frang, Philippe Graffin, the Pra\u017e\u00e1k Quartet and the Schumann Quartett. She has been a guest at numerous international festivals, including Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, West Cork Chamber Music Festival, Music@Menlo, Krzy\u017cowa Music, Chigiana International Festival, Kaposfest Hungary, Internationaal Kamermuziek Festival Utrecht, Grachtenfestival Amsterdam, Kronberg Festival and the Amsterdam Cello Biennale, and was invited to the Verbier Festival Academy for three consecutive years. She is a member of the Amsterdam Chamber Music Society and Artistic Director of the Chamber Music Festival Amsterdam. She is an artist in residence at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Brussels, where she studied with Gary Hoffman. SEVERIN von ECKARDSTEIN <\/strong>has established a strong presence on the stages of the world\u2019s most prestigious concert halls, performing to great acclaim in Berlin, Munich, Moscow, Paris, London, New York, Amsterdam, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Seoul. He is also a regular guest at major festivals including Aldeburgh, the Ruhr Piano Festival, La Roque d\u2019Anth\u00e9ron, the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival and the Miami International Piano Festival. He has collaborated with conductors such as Valery Gergiev, Philippe Herreweghe, Lothar Zagrosek, Marek Janowski and Walter Weller, and has made notable debuts at the Concertgebouw with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra under Paavo J\u00e4rvi, as well as with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra conducted by Jaap van Zweden. He has been repeatedly invited to the \u201cMaestri del Pianoforte\u201d concert series in Amsterdam, where he also performed the opening concert of the 25th anniversary edition. Born in D\u00fcsseldorf in 1978, he has won numerous awards, including First Prize at the Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels, the Echo Klassik Award and the European Culture Prize. He studied with Barbara Szczepanska, Karl-Heinz K\u00e4mmerling and Klaus Hellwig at the Berlin University of the Arts, and later at the Accademia di Como, also benefiting from the guidance of Alfred Brendel, Boris Margulis, Karl Ulrich Schnabel, Alicia de Larrocha, Leon Fleisher and Menahem Pressler. Chamber music plays a significant role in his artistic activity, including appearances at the Khumo and Ris\u00f8r Festivals in Norway, where he performed with cellist Heinrich Schiff.
